Dear fellow searcher:
The Institute of Creation Research has a marvelous web site on the Flood and chronology on the geology that followed. ICR continued to answer my questions in a very professional and scientific manner. I highly recommend it..
Sincerely,

I'm not sure if you've found this yet, as your Web page still claims that you haven't but the age of Jacob at Joseph's birth was 91.
Here is how:
Jacob 130 yrs when he meets Pharaoh [Gen 47:9]
2 years of famine occur [Gen 45:6]
7 years of plenty occur [Gen 41:53]
Joseph 30 when he explains Pharaoh's dream [Gen 41:46]
----
30+2+7 = 39 years
----
130-39 = Jacob was 91 yrs when Joseph born

In my opinion, you cannot calculate the biblical dates without attention to information from other sources, especially Assyrian and Babylonian texts. Moreover, the problems you find within the chronology of the kings of Israel and Judah are almost completely soluble when ancient methods of reckoning kings' reigns are understood. I would urge you to read Professor K. A. Kitchen's book 'On the Reliability of the Old Testament', especially pages 7-32, but preferably the whole book!
A. M.To link biblical time and BC time you should go from the year 967 BC. The forth year of Solomon. (1 kings 6). The year 967bc is known because the years of the Kings has already been worked out by Edwin Thiele. His work has stood the test of time. 40 years. His work is solid. His book is "the mysterious numbers of the Hebrew Kings". Your current chart is off by 30 or so years when using the date 967 bc. ...instead of 701bc.
